GLOBAL HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS
Wells World Services' primary mission is to provide exemplary U.S. standard medical care and support to U.S. Department of Defense Contract Companies while forward deployed overseas, which allows our Joint Task Force customer to carry out their mission. We accomplish this through providing care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. We hire only the very best and brightest U.S.-trained medical professionals on the planet and place them where they are needed most. Our cadre of experts come with years of experience in emergency medicine, surgery, urgent care, and/or occupational medicine. They are the cream of the crop and are hand picked for their superior track record in medical practice, academics, and/or military leadership. Each hail from some of the most prestigious university medical centers in the world. All of them have a keen thirst for adventure and self-sacrifice -- having served in either worldwide humanitarian efforts and/or military combat.
Our men and women have served on all seven continents, i.e., with a current presence in Southwest Asia, Africa, and the Persian Gulf to name just few. Our collective experience includes humanitarian efforts to earthquake torn Haiti, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Antarctica, the Alaskan pipeline, Desert Storm, Desert Shield, OIF, OEF, South America, and Mexico. You name it, we've been there.
Our unwavering mission is to provide impeccable patient care and other services in accordance with state and federal regulations so that your company can enjoy increased productivity, job satisfaction, retention and reduced time off work due to injury or illness. We accomplish this by hiring passionate, cream of the crop professionals who pride themselves in giving their very best, thus maximizing your value.
Mr. Wells is a retired Army Officer veteran who served 20 years on active duty, most of which was in forward deployed, often austere locations. He has over 26 years of medical experience as an EMT, Paramedic, Family Practice PA, Emergency Medicine PA and an Occupational Health PA. During his military career he held positions as a platoon leader, Company Commander and Area III Surgeon in South Korea. After retiring from the Army Mr. Wells worked on Alaska's North Slope as an Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health PA and in an Emergency Department in New Mexico caring for Native Americans. He has gleaned much of his leadership knowledge and style from his years of leadership in the Army. His professional and life philosophy is simple, "...empower those in your charge...take good care of them, allowing them to do what they do best and approach your duties with a servant's heart."
Dr. Handley has been with Wells World Services since its inception in 2010 and helped to establish the very first location in Southwest Asia. During his 2011 deployment to Afghanistan, he held a PA credential at Craig Joint Theater Hospital, Bagram Airfield. He thrives as a life-long learner, holding advanced degrees in medicine, public health, business, and operational leadership from a number of universities, including the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Harvard Medical School. He completed a Doctor of Health Sciences degree in 2010 and Doctor of Medicine degree in 2018. He is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Board Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. His military experience spans twelve years combined service in both the Colorado Air National Guard (Staff Sergeant) and U.S. Navy, where he ultimately earned a commission as a Navy Medical Service Corps Officer (Lieutenant).
Jill Misuraca came to Wells World Services on a very strong recommendation from one of our larger clients. She has lived up to and far exceeded expectations at Wells and is a very valued and integral part of the organization. Currently, she serves as the Medical Program Manager for Wells World Services, and brings decades of government contracting experience to the table. Jill's responsibilities are many, but she is a master organizer and gets things done! In short order, she has built the physical exam process at Wells into a well-oiled machine. Patients and clients repeatedly praise her for her attention to detail and prompt, personal assistance. Before Wells, she served three years as Medical Office Manager for a very high profile Army Aviation Special Operations group in Savannah, GA. Jill is a proud and honorably discharged veteran of the US Army and has served her country overseas in Iraq.
Dr. Demby has served WWS since 2011. She recently retired from full-time medical practice, where she provided Adult Internal Medicine (inpatient and outpatient services). She attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, obtaining a B.A. in chemistry. She received her M.D. from the University of Kansas. Her residency training included three years at the Rockford Family Medicine Program in Rockford, Illinois, from which she became board certified in Family Practice.
Choosing to focus on adult primary care, she completed an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, serving as chief resident her third year. She is also an associate clinical professor for the University of Colorado Medical School, where she has received numerous teaching awards.
