Mr. Wells is a retired Army Officer veteran who served 20 years on active duty, most of which was in forward deployed, often austere locations. He has over 26 years of medical experience as an EMT, Paramedic, Family Practice PA, Emergency Medicine PA, and Occupational Health PA. During his military career, he held positions as a platoon leader, Company Commander, and Area III Surgeon in South Korea. After retiring from the Army, Mr. Wells worked on Alaska's North Slope as an Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health PA and in an Emergency Department in New Mexico caring for Native Americans. He has gleaned much of his leadership knowledge and style from his years of leadership in the Army. His professional and life philosophy is simple, "Empower those in your charge. Take good care of them, allow them to do what they do best, and approach your duties with a servant's heart."
Dr. Handley is a Veteran Naval Officer and operational leader aligned with Wells World Services from its inception. He thrives as a lifelong learner, holding advanced degrees in medicine, public health, business, and operational leadership from a number of universities including the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Harvard Medical School (HMS), where he completed a Master's degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety. While at HMS, he simultaneously completed a fellowship in healthcare quality at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He currently serves HMS in interviewing and selecting exceptionally qualified physician applicants for the MS-HQS program. He is a Board Certified Fellow/Diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association for Healthcare Quality, and the American Academy of Physician Associates. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate from Villanova University. As a servant leader, he strives to lead with empathy, transparency, and authenticity and finds his bliss when immersed in diverse, dynamic teams, camaraderie, and creative problem-solving.
Dr. Demby has been with Wells World Services since 2011. She founded Southwest Internal Medicine in Cortez, Colorado, where she and her team provided adult internal medicine to both in-patients and out-patients. She completed her premed at Bethany College and medical school at the University of Kansas. She completed her family medicine residency at the Rockford Family Medicine Program in Rockford, Illinois, as well as an internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, serving as Chief Resident in her third year. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor for the University of Colorado Medical School, where she has received numerous teaching awards.
Dr. Henderson is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years of critical care and hospitalist care experience. She attended medical school at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. She currently serves Wells World Services as the Senior Supervising Physician, collaborating with and mentoring our Advanced Practice Provider staff. She and her husband enjoy the outdoor life of Southwest Colorado.
Mr. Lansdowne is an experienced Senior Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry. He recently retired as a Senior Vice President of the Leidos Corporation. He is skilled in Requirements Management, U.S. Department of Management, and Requirements Analysis. He is a strong professional with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also completed an Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
Jill Misuraca came to Wells World Services on a very strong recommendation from one of our larger clients. She has lived up to and far exceeded expectations at Wells and is a very valued and integral part of the organization. Currently, she serves as the Medical Program Manager for Wells World Services, and brings decades of government contracting experience to the table. Jill's responsibilities are many, but she is a master organizer and gets things done! In short order, she has built the physical exam process at Wells into a well-oiled machine. Patients and clients repeatedly praise her for her attention to detail and prompt, personal assistance. Before Wells, she served three years as Medical Office Manager for a very high profile Army Aviation Special Operations group in Savannah, GA. Jill is a proud and honorably discharged veteran of the US Army and has served her country overseas in Iraq.
A true expert of Federal Government clearances with over 15 years of industry experience, Mr. Schiowitz is fully grounded in Special Access Programs (SAP) and both Personnel Clearance (PCL), and Facility Clearance (FCL) policies, processes, and requirements. As Wells World Services' Facility Security Officer, he is responsible for onboarding, clearances, badging, security training, compliance, and offboarding of all employees and independent contractors who serve on our federal contracts. In his career, he has trained and managed large teams of security professionals in both the Defense and Intel Community sectors. Capable of managing thousands of cleared individuals simultaneously, he knows how to streamline complicated security requirements to deliver talented professionals timely, efficiently, and effectively.
